Lemmie H. Kees, 77, Succumbs; Burial Held Sun.

Lemmie Hamilton Kees, 77, of Georgetown, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19,
1966, in Baptist Hospital in Alexandria.  He was a member of the Georgetown
Masonic Lodge and Georgetown Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Georgetown Baptist
Church with Rev. D. Carson and Rev. H. Smith officiating.  Burial followed
in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at Pineville under direction of Hixson Bros.
Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Ida Burke Kees of Georgetown; two sons, Ray A.
Kees of Alexandria and Billy B. Kees of Natchitoches; one brother, Isham Kees
of Georgetown; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Rogers and Mrs. Jennie Bankston,
Georgetown, and Mrs. Sally Scott of Pollock; and give grandchildren.
