Bobby Keen Is Missing In Action In Korea Pvt. Bobby Wayne Keen It was learned this week that Pvt. Bobby Wayne Keen, 19 year old son of Mrs. Ruth Keen, of Atlanta Rd., has been listed as missing in action in Korea. Mrs. Keen received word that he became missing on July 8, when his position was attacked by enemy forces. Mrs. Keen said she is hopeful that he is alive in a prison camp, although no word has been received since he was reported missing. Pvt. Keen was with Company E, 17th IRTC, Infantry, and had been overseas three months. He was in service seven months when sent overseas. He was a member of the local National Guard unit when he enlisted for active duty. Pvt. Keen attended Winnfield High School and was employed at Southern Funeral Home when he went into service.
