Keen, 45, Carey Salt Worker, Buried Thursday Funeral services were held at the Laurel Heights Baptist Church here at 3 p.m. Thursday for Robert S. Keen, 45, who died in a local hospital at about 2 a.m. Wednesday, following a heart attack. Rites were conducted by the Rev. H. J. Mott, pastor of the church, and interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Born December 5, 190__, ___ Keen was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish, an employee of the Carey salt mine ___a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Keen; three sons, Buddy, Thomas, and John _____ Keen; and two daughters, _____ and Sarah Keen, all of Winnfield; five brothers, J. C., _______, J. A., H. W., and D. W. Keen, all of Joyce, three sisters, Mrs. _____ Spangler, of Joyce, and Mrs. __. C. T_____, of Winnfield, Route ___.
