Funeral Services For P. Keiffer To Be Held Saturday

Peter Keiffer, 69 years, 10 months, and 25 days, of Montgomery, died at the
North Louisiana Sanitarium in Shreveport, Thursday morning at 7:30 o'clock.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Mount Zion in
Winn Parish.

Mr. Keiffer had retired from farming in Ward 5, Winn Parish, some time ago.

He is survived by his wife, of Montgomery; four sons, Henry Keiffer of Ward 5,
Winn Parish; Joe Keiffer of Shreveport; John Keiffer with the army in Italy;
and Jesse Keiffer with the Army in Germany; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma
Rainer, Mrs. Alma Horn, and Mrs. W. A. Champion, all of Montgomery; two
brothers, Enoch Keiffer and Elijah Keiffer, both of Ward 5, Winn Parish, and a
number of grandchildren.
