Mrs. Kelly, 72, Winn Native, Dies Friday

Mrs. Cornie Holmes Kelly, 72, of 3901 Benton Road, Bossier city, died at
9:15 p.m. Friday, June 3, 1972 at Schumpert Hospital following a long
illness.

She had been a resident of the area for 51 years and was a native of
Winnfield, La.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Queensboro Church of the
Nazarene.  Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, T. T. Kelly; two daughters, Mrs. Charles E.
Creech of Shreveport and Mrs. Glyn Craine of Longview; one son, Allen J.
Kelly of Bossier City; three brothers, Joe Holmes of Winnfield, Luther
Holmes of Shreveport, and Wendell Holmes of Alexandria; three sisters, Mrs.
Frances Wheeler of Winnfield, Mrs. Gerald Babin of Jonesville, and Mrs. J.
R. Payne of Winnfield, and seven grandchildren.
