All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: November 5, 1931 Winn Parish Enterprise Funeral Services Are Held For John Charles Kelly Funeral services for Mr. Charles Kelly, 73 years of age, who died in the Alexandria sanitarium early Monday morning, were held at the First Presbyterian Church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor, had charge of the services. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mr. Kelly, in his younger years, was connected with the Louisiana-Arkansas Railway and later the Southern Mineral Company. Surviving the deceased is his wife, two sons, J. H. and C. E. Kelly of Alexandria; two daughters, Mrs. Manton Wood, Winnfield, and Mrs. Max Brown, Zwolle; and one sister, Mrs. J. M. Goddard, of Tampa, Florida. Among the out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. George Larkin, Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Keen and son, Mr. Fairchild and Mr. Roy Cookston, of Alexandria; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jackson of LeCompte, and Mr. Bob Harbison of El Dorado, Ark.
