Mrs. Vera Shows Kelly Dies at Home in Florida

Mrs. Vera Shows Kelly, niece of Mrs. N. L. Horton and well known in Winnfield,
died at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida, Friday of last week.  Funeral
services were held in West Palm Beach on Monday of this week.

Mrs. Kelly is the daughter of J. M. Shows of Jonesboro and was a teacher in
the schools of Jackson Parish several years before her marriage.  She
is survived by her husband, R. Kelly, father, J. M. Shows, and three
sisters and two brothers.
