C. Kelley, Sr., Dies After Long Illness Edwin C. Kelley, Sr., 88, of Goldonna, died at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 1977 in a Shreveport hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Richard DeBusk, Rayford Higgs, and Wallace Ingles officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. A native of Winn Parish, Mr. Kelley was a veteran of World War I and a member and deacon of Mill Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lela Kelley of Goldonna; three sons, Edwin C. Kelley, Jr., and M. J. Kelley, both of Winnfield, and J. M. Kelley of Goldonna; three daughters, Mrs. J. K. Martin of Goldonna, Mrs. Dan Page of Winnfield, and Mrs. Roland Dobson of Chestnut; one brother, Audrey Kelley of Goldonna; one sister, Mrs. Essie Reed of Goldonna; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
