Last Rites For Mrs. Kelley At Jonesboro

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lena Rikard Kelley at 11 a.m. January 13,
in the chapel of Edmonds Funeral Home at Jonesboro.  Burial was at the Double
Church Cemetery in the Couley Community.

Mrs. Kelley, 79, died Friday, January 11 in a local hospital after a lengthy
illness.

The officiating minister was Mr. Ray Geiger of Coushatta.

Pallbearers were A. D. Rowell, J. E. Rowell, Glen Rowell, Thell Rowell,
Hershel Shaw, Terry Shaw, J. E. Rikard, and Virgil Rikard.

Mrs. Lena Kelley is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Melva Rowell; three
granddaughters, LaNae Wigler, Mrs. Anna Tarpley, and Bonita Rowell, and three
great grandchildren.  Also two brothers, J. E. Rikard, Sr., and W. E. Rikard,
of Winn Parish, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Deville, Citrus Heights, Calif., and
several nieces and nephews.
