Kelley, Well Known Resident Of Winn Succumbs W. P. Kelley, 77, prominent Winn Parish resident of the Gansville Community, died in a Monroe hospital Sunday night after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted at the Siloam Baptist Church at 10 a.m. February 5, with the Rev. A. D. Foster and the Rev. Rufus Kitchingham officiating. Burial was in the Gansville Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Rawson Taylor, Buford Taylor, Simon Shivley, Jr., Floyd Shively, Wilson Shively, and Estus Shively. Mr. Kelley was a retired merchant and cattle raiser, and was a member of the Gansville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae Anderson Kelley, Gansville; one son, W. H. Kelley, West Monroe; four daughters, Mrs. Tom LaBorde, Leesville, Mrs. Edward Vail, Pineville, Mrs. Alice Sidbor, Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. A. Y. Clingan, El Dorado, Ark.; three brothers, Edward and Audrey Kelley of Goldonna, and Tom Kelley of Campbell, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Essie Reed, Goldonna, Mrs. Rinda Kelly, Campbell, Calif., and Mrs. Arilla Harper, Saline; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
