C. Kelly, 85, Dies Suddenly At Home Here June 2 Funeral services for Mrs. J. C. Kelly, 85, who died suddenly at her home in Winnfield at 10 p.m. June 2, were held at the First Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. W. R. Gage, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Ebb Machen, Ovey Trahan, Tracy Harrell, F. L. Main, John W. Riley, and Louis Sholars. A native of Larkinsville, Ala., Mrs. Kelly had been a resident of Winnfield for the past 50 years. She was a charger member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sons, John and Charles Kelly of Alexandria; two daughters, Mrs. maonton Wood of Winnfield and Mrs. Max Brown of Zwolle; two sisters, Mrs. M. Little, Texarkana, Ark., and Miss Ella Larkin of Winnfield. She also leaves six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
