Funeral Services For Mrs. H. C. Kelsoe Held In Colfax

Mrs. Margaret Corine Kelsoe, wife of the late H. C. Kelsoe, died at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. F. A. Buvens, in Shreveport, January 12, 1931.  Funeral
services were held in Colfax and interment made in the Colfax Cemetery.  The
Rev. J. B. Fomby of Logansport, had charge of the services.

Mrs. Kelsoe was 69 years, ten months, and twenty-nine days old.  She was born
in St. Helena Parish February 13, 1862.  At an early age her family moved to
Catahoula Parish and from there to Grant and then to Winn Parish.  She was
married to H. C. Kelsoe in 1888, before her marriage being Miss Margaret
Corine Brewer.

The deceased is survived by five children, Mrs. T. A. Buevens, Shreveport;
Horace Kelsoe, Colfax; Mrs. E. D. Erickson, Los Angeles, Calif.; John Kelsoe,
Winnfield; and Charlie C. Kelsoe, Colfax; one sister, Mrs. H. C. Hice,
Logansport, and two brothers, Albert Brewer of Hudson and Reuben Brewer of
Winnfield.
