H. W. Kendrick, Georgetown, Dies Sept. 6

Henry Wesley Kendrick, 83, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 1970 at his
home in Georgetown.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Pace of Hodge and Mrs. Mattie
Freiemuth of Niagra Falls, N. Y.; seven sons, M. H. Kendrick of Baton Rouge,
Alton Kendrick of Dumas, Texas, T. A. Kendrick of Sulphur, Alex Kendrick of
Niagra Falls, Floyd Kendrick of Alexandria, Richard Kendrick of Bossier City,
Malcolm Kendrick of Joyce; one sister, Mrs. Lena Bumgardner, 23 grandchildren,
and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Georgetown Baptist
Church with Rev. Donald Lemons officiating.  Burial was in Pinehill Cemetery
at Sicily Island.
