William Kennedy, Pollock Resident, Buried Aug. 4th

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 4, for William James Kennedy, 86, of
Pollock, who died Saturday in a local hospital following a short illness.

Rites were conducted in the Laurel Heights Assembly of God Church with the
Rev. C. D. Bates and Rev. W. F. Harrell officiating.  Burial was in the
Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bertie Howell of Winnfield and Mrs.
Marie Lincecum of Pollock; three sisters, Mrs. Letha Davis of Pollock, Mrs.
Emmy Langley of Dry Prong, and Mrs. Nellie Cloud of Winnfield; three brothers,
George Kennedy of Quitman, Eddy Kennedy of Pollock, and Crawford Kennedy
of Reserve, N. M.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
