Mrs. Ollie L. Key Dies At Home In Calvin This Week

Mrs. Ollie Lee Key passed away on September 10, 1946, at her home in Calvin at
the age of 65 years.

Funeral services were held at the Calvin Baptist church Wednesday, September
11, with the Rev. F. M. York and Rev. H. H. McBride in charge.  Burial was at
the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Mrs. Key was the widow of the late Lawrence Key and is survived by seven
children, five sons and two daughters.  They are Lloyd Key and Ira Key of
Winnfield; Curtis of Calvin; Presley of Lake Providence; Monroe of Crowville;
Mrs. C. B. Wilkerson of Calvin, and Mrs. Perry Dans of Crowville.

She is also survived by three sisters, seven brothers, and a number of
grandchildren.  Her brothers are J. E. Carter, Wise Carter, Gamble Carter,
Leon Carter, and E. D. Carter, all of Winnfield; W. S. Carter of Calvin, and
C. M. Carter, Jonesboro; and three sisters, Mrs. S. E. Jackson and Mrs Virgil
Williams, Winnfield, and Mrs. Dan Lowe, Verda.

Pallbearers were W. S. Carter, Dan L. Carter, R. B. Carter, J. C. Jackson, L.
Lowe, and C. C. Carter.  Funeral services were conducted by Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home.
