Curtis Key

Services for Curtis Key, 69, of Calvin, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in
Bethlehem Church with the Rev. Leonard Free and C. D. Bates and Leonard Yocum
officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home in
Winnfield.

Mr. Key died Sunday, April 13, 1980 in the local hospital after a long
illness.

He was a charter member of Calvin Baptist Church and a member of the Winn
Parish Democratic Executive Committee.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Bates Key of Calvin; a son, Glen Key of
Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Harper of Houston and Mrs. Shirley
Cooper of Waller, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Curlee Davis of Crowville and Mrs.
Vinie Wilkinson of Calvon; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild.
