H. S. Keyes, 66, Winn Native, Dies In Tallulah

Howard S. Keyes, 66, of Tallulah, died Wednesday, February 9, 1972 at his
residence after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in
Tallulah with the Revs. C. C. Cornelius and Fred Keyes officiating.

Burial was in Providence Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Keyes was a native of Winnfield and had been a resident of Tallulah for 29
years.  He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bertha Keyes of Tallulah; one son, Maj.
Billy G. Keyes of the U. S. Army; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Wilson of
Tallulah; four brothers, Ivy Keyes, Archie Keyes, Ray Keyes, and Josh Keyes,
all of Winnfield, and five grandchildren.
