An employee of the Drivers License Bureau, he had been in ill health for several years. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, at the Laurel Heights Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. C. C. Martin, officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Billy Wilkinson, Jimmy Bob Key, Glynn Edward Key, Kincaid Key, James Lawrence Key, and K. W. Key. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Della Key; four sons, Jerry Lynn, Benny Ray, and David Wayne, all of Winnfield and Ira Joe Key, Many; four brothers, Lloyd of Winnfield; Curtis of Rt. 3, Winnfield; Presley of Lake Providence, and Monroe of Delhi; two sisters, Mrs. Perry Davis of Delhi and Mrs. C. V. Wilkinson of Calvin.
