All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: August 20, 1970 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Tractor Turns Over, Kills Winn Native A young Sulphur, La. businessman, and native of Winnfield, was accidentally killed last Friday afternoon when the tractor he was operating overturned and crushed him as he was clearing property where he planned to build a new home. Jimmy Craig Key, 27, was dead on arrival at West Calcasieu-Cameron hospital. He was a business partner with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Key in Jer- ree where he headed the men's department. His parents are also co-owners of Cele's Town & Country Shop in Winnfield. Mrs. John C. Key is the former Miss Philan and was reared in the Five Forks Community east of Atlanta. Surviving the deceased are his wife, Mrs. Carolyn Garner Key; one son; his parents; one brother; and his grandmother, Mrs. Nettie Key of Shreveport. Funeral services were conducted at Hixson Brothers' Chapel, Sulphur, La., at 2 p.m. Sunday with burial following in a Sulphur cemetery. Attending the last rites were Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Collins, Rhonda and Dwayne, and Mr. E. L. Collins, Jr., Winnfield.
