Key, Age 60 of Calvin, Succumbs To Heart Trouble Funeral Services Held Thursday, Interment At Bethlehem Joseph Lawrence Key, age 60, who has been suffering for more than a year with heart trouble and high blood pressure, died at his home at Calvin Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Key was born at Holly Springs, Ark., but came to Louisiana when a young man. He married Miss Ollie Carter of Calvin, where he made his home engaging in farming. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home at Calvin and interment was made in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Winnfield and Rev. F. M. Shows of Calvin conducted the services. Surviving are his widow, five sons, Presley Key of Lake Providence, Loyd and Ira Key of Winnfield, Monroe Key of Crowville, Curtis Key of Calvin, two daughters, Mrs. Perry Davis of Crowville, Mrs. Cliff Wilkerson of Houma; one sister, Mrs. Tinnie House of Sheridan, Ark., and one brothers, Charles, J. E., Wise, Bill, Ark. (Apparently the obit is misprinted here but is given as written). The pallbearers were the Carter brothers, Charles, J. E., Wise, Bill, Gamble, and Leon Carter.
