J. I. Kidd Buried In Sikes Cemetery Sept. 23

Funeral services for J. I. Kidd, 53 year old farmer of Sikes, who died
September 22, 1935 at his home were held September 23 at the Sikes Cemetery
with the Rev. M. L. Lee officiating.  Mr. Kidd died after a three
weeks illness with typhoid fever.

The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church and had been a resident of
the Sikes Community for the past eleven years.

Surviving are his widow and the following sons and daughter, Elmo, Hershel,of
Sikes, Maxey of Bosco, and Mrs. Crosby Adams of Sikes, and the following
brothers and sister: Grover Kidd, Sikes, Harris Kidd of Georgetown, Mrs. A. J.
Brewer of Hudson, and one half brother, T. C. Kidd, of Sikes.
