Victor Kidd, 29, Buried At New Hope March 2

Victor Kidd, age about 29 years, died Saturday afternoon at a Shreveport
sanitarium after a brief illness with pneumonia and other troubles.  Mr. Kidd
had been in ill health during the past year.  Mr. Kidd is a member of a former
Winn Parish family but for the past 8 or 9 years had made his home at
Winnsboro with Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Elldridge.

Mr. Kidd is survived by three brothers, T. C. Kidd, Gram Kidd, of Sikes; and
H. R. Kidd of Georgetown; two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Elldridge of Winnsboro and
Mrs. A. J. Brewer of Hudson.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 at New Hope Methodist
Church with Rev. B. C. White of Ruston officiating.
