He was a native of Winn and had spent his entire life in the Couley area. Last rites were conducted at 10 a.m. May 17 at the Double Churches of which he was a member, with the Rev. H. B. Gorum officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Survivors include two sons, Lester C. Kieffer, Winnfield, Denman E. Kieffer, Calvin; four daughters, Mrs. Joel Adams, Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Drew Curry, Jr., Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Corbia Blair, and Mrs. Delma Stanfill, both of Winnfield; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
