G. Killen, Son of Mrs. Fannie Killen, Dies In Idaho A. G. Killen, 19, son of Mrs. Fannie Killen of Ward Two, Winn Parish, died from spinal meningitis, Saturday, June 4th at 11:30 p.m. at a hospital in Pocatello, Idaho, where he had been carried after he became ill in a CCC Camp in Wyoming. Young Killen was enrolled in the CCC at Winnfield on April 13, 1937. He was a son of the late A. G. Killen, at one time police jury member from Ward 2. The remains were to be sent to Boyce, La., for interment. Surviving besides his mother, are four sisters, Bertha, Carlos, Jessie, and Winson Killen.
