Killen, Obit September 7, 1961, Winn Parish Enterprise Final Rites For Mrs. B. H. Killen Held September 2 Mrs. B.H. Killen died suddenly Friday, September 1, at the family residence here of a heart attack. She was 64. Mrs. Killen was a life-long resident of Winn parish and a member of the Winnfield First Methodist Church. Funeral services were held here at 10:30 a.m., Saturday in the Southern Funeral Home chapel with Rev. R.H. Staples officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Ben H. Killen of Shreveport, Edward H. Killen of Winnfield, and H. Ford Killen of New York City; two daughters, Mrs. Jewell Caskey and Mrs. Lucille Reid, both of Winnfield; two brothers, Ray P. Eagles of Winnfiled and Walter R. Eagles of Dry Prong; a half-brother, Robert L. Eagles of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. W.H. Scott fo Winnfield and Mrs. C.S. Jones of Longview, Wash., seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Acting as pallbearers were: Alonzo Reid, Henry Reid, Edward Eagles, Dallas Varnell, Noah Gilcrease, Jr., and O.F. Jarnigan.
