James I. Killen Succumbs; Rites Held Tuesday

James Ivy Killen, 74, of Winnfield, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, March 18, 1968
in a Winnfield hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Killen of Winnfield; two brothers, Bill
Killen of Urania and Henry Killen of Jonesville; five sisters, Mrs. Sally
Peters of Rachal, Mrs. Lula Moore and Mrs. Dempsey Mercer, both of Tullos,
Mrs. Bessie Wassinger of Minden, and Mrs. Ella Culp of Rhinehart.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Funeral Home by Rev.
Lester Carpenter and Rev. Charlie Christie.  Burial was in Pleasant Hill
Cemetery near Winnfield.
