H. Killen, 79, Dies; Funeral Held Saturday Benjamin H. Killen, 79, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 1967 in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness. He was a retired school teacher and merchant. He is survived by three sons, Ben H. Killen of Shreveport, E. H. Killen of Winnfield, and H. Ford Killen of New York City; two daughters, Mrs. Jewel Caskey and Mrs. Lucille Reid, both of Winnfield, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Cammie Wisdom of Baton Rouge. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Methodist Church, Winnfield, with Revs. Richard Walton and C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery near Winnfield under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield. Pallbearers were Maxwell T. Crowe, Sr., A. J. McCartney, Reginald Dietzel, Dudley Shell, Jesse Anders, Malcolm Collins.
