H. Kilpatrick Dies After Long Illness Willard H. Kilpatrick, 66 of Jonesboro, brother of Dr. Arnold Kilpatrick, president of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, died February 6, 1977 at Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Jonesboro United Methodist Church with Revs. Dan Tohline, Bill Fuller, and Dr. George Haile officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Masonic rites were also conducted at the graveside. Mr. Kilpatrick was a native of Eros, owner of Kilpatrick Ford Motor Co., in Jonesboro, a cattleman, timber farmer, 32nd Degree Mason, Shriner, chairman of the Institutions Board, a member of the Toll Road Commission, Educational Super Board, State Welfare Board, State Forestry Commission, and was very active on the boards of the Jonesboro United Methodist Church. Other survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katherine Terrell Kilpatrick of Jonesboro; another brother, Travis H. Kilpatrick of Eros; two nieces and one nephew.
