Former Resident Of Sikes Succumbs In W. Monroe

Mrs. Betty Antley King passed away in West Monroe Monday, April 10, after a
long illness.  Mrs. King was 78 years old.

Funeral services were held at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church at 3 o'clock
Tuesday afternoon with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. King is survived by three children, Mrs. Lena Price and Daniel King of
West Monroe, and Henry King of Monroe; two brothers, John Antley of West
Monroe and Eugene Antley of Tallulah.  Several grandchildren also survive her.

Mrs. King was a former resident of Sikes.
