W. H. King of Ruston Succumbs

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for W. H. "Hub" King of Ruston,
La., and Portland, Ark., a former Winnfield resident who died Monday at a
Monroe clinic.

Rev. J. C. Odom conducted the services at the Temple Baptist Church at Ruston,
La., and the burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery here.

He leaves besides his wife, Mrs. Rose White King, a son, J. H. "Sonny Boy"
King, a daughter, Mrs. Lavelle Ferguson, of Ruston; two granddaughters; one
brother, C. B. King of Winnfield, and five sisters, Mrs. Bessie Sandifer, Mrs.
Exie Ammons, Mrs. Lizzie Calhoun, Mrs. Alma White, all of Jackson, Miss., and
Mrs. Abner Durham of Santa Rosa, Calif.
