Death Claims Mrs. John Kitchingham

Mrs. Mattie P. Kitchingham, 71, of Columbia, wife of the Rev. John D.
Kitchingham, former residents of Winn Parish, and now of Columbia, La., died
Monday night in Caldwell Hospital following an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of
Columbia with the Rev. T. O. Arrington and Jimmie Bolton officiating.  Burial
was in Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. John D. Kitchingham, Sr., of Columbia; one
son, John D. Kitchingham, Jr., of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Harry
Mounce of Pineville and Mrs. Paul Tolar of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, E. B.
(B. B.?) Poisso, Sr. of Atlanta and Emmett Poisso of Natchitoches; one sister,
Mrs. Frank Minor of Shreveport; and six grandchildren.
