Last Rites For Mrs. Martha Kite At St. Maurice

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Kite, 73, of St. Maurice community in Winn
Parish, were held at the St. Patrick Church in Montgomery at 10:30 o'clock
Wednesday morning, March 10, with Father Curtis officiating.  Burial was in
St. Maurice Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kite, who lived in the St. Maurice community for many years, died at her
home on Tuesday, March 9.

She is survived by her widower, Lee Kite, of St. Maurice; two sons, Harvey S.
Kite of Gilliam, La., and Rose Paul Kite of Clarence; four daughters, Miss
Kathryn Jones of St. Maurice, Mrs. Nellie Thomassee of Campti, Mrs. Ella
Thompson of St. Maurice, and Mrs. Martha Weaver of Montgomery; and done
sister, Mrs. Ada McBride of Montgomery.  She is also survived by 27
grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
