Mrs. Audry Knight Is Buried Tuesday In Montgomery

Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Knight, 25, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in
the Northside Baptist Church in Montgomery, with burial in the Montgomery
Cemetery.

Mrs. Knight was shot to death by her husband Monday night in an Alexandria
drive-in parking lot.  Her husband, Lester H. Knight, a __ year old Army
sergeant of Ft. Carson, Colo., then shot himself twice in the chest.  His
condition is listed as serious.

Mrs. Knight is survived by four children, Lester Howard, Jr., Debra Denise,
Melissa Elleen, and Cynthia Mae, all of Jena; her mother, Mrs. Jack Burrow of
Haynesville; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lasyone of Montgomery.

Services were under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield.
