Kyson Dies; Burial At Corinth Roy M. Kyson, 64, Route 2, Winnfield, died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, February 29, 1972 at Martin Hospital. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randell Jordan and the Rev. Lester Carpenter officiating. Burial was at the Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery near Winnfield. A Winn Parish native, he was a World War II veteran and a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Onita Kyson of Winnfield; three brothers, Joseph Wade Kyson and Troy Kyson, both of Winnfield, and Jack Kyson of Shreveport; and one sister, Mrs. Maudie Downhour of Shreveport. Pallbearers included Jimmy Ray Stearns, Tommy Downey, Jr., Allan Escagne, Arnold Wilder, Troy A. Kyson, Bobby G. Kyson, Doyle Kyson, and Carl Newbury.
