Bishop Loy Gaar will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery at Gaars Mill, La. Mr Kelly, age 96, of Pineville, LA, died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998 in the Woodhaven Nursing Home at Pollock, LA. He was a Winn Parish Native and a member of New Hope Methodist Church. He was a farmer. Survivors are one son, Jimmy Allen Kelly of Jena, LA.; three daughters, Iona "Tincy" Ebert and Nettie Mae Tanner, both of Pineville, LA. and Mildred Jane Cotten of Ellisville, MS; one sister, Estelle Gorham of Joyce, LA; 17 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may visit in the Funeral Home until service time on Wednesday.************************************************ In addition to the information given in the above obituary. I'd like to add the following : Ross Kelly was my husband's, Jimmy Allen Kelly, Jr.'s, grandfather. Ross Kelly was born in Winn Parish, LA. on November 10, 1902 to the union of Jasper Washington and Samantha Lou "Tisha" Smith Kelly. On January 13, 1922 he married Bula Elva Gaar, daughter of John Adam and Lucy Vilonie Chatham Gaar in Winn Parish, La. Bula Gaar Kelly born September 26, 1899 preceded Ross Kelly in death on December 29, 1987. In addition to the four surviving children mentioned in the obituary. Ross and Bula Gaar Kelly also had two sons that preceded them in death. John Washington Hood "J.W." Kelly b. 23 June 1925 d. 10 July 1944 in Normandy, France in WW II Ross Carson "Kit" Kelly b. 10 Jan. 1929 d. 24 Aug. 1964
