Burial will be in Garden of Memories in Winnfield under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis. Lacaze, 91, of Natchitoches died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital. He was a native of Montrose and a former resident of Winnfield. He was a retired construction superintendent and former owner and operator of Westside Grocery at Winnfield. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by two wives, Ethel D. LaCaze and Dorothy F. LaCaze; and one son, John J. LaCaze. Survivors include one son, Charles LaCaze of Hot Springs, Ark.; one stepson, Buddy Futrell of Boston, Va.; three daughters, Betty Lou Williams of Pasadena, Texas, Margaret A. Johnson of Lafayette, and Susie Ward of Browning, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Dorothy Lee of Natchitoches; five sisters, Rosalie Gallien of Beaumont, Texas, Lelia Gongre of Plaquemine, Florentine Rachal of Flora, Delphine Bryan and Theresa Fuller, both of Montrose; one brother, Malcolm LaCaze of London; 19 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, 42 great- grandchildren, and 21 step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Williams, James Fredrick, Elvin Stelly, Herman Rachal, Chip LaCaze, and Randy LaCaze. A rosary will begin at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. Friends may call from 5-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until noon in the funeral home.
