LaCaze, 93, Succumbs; Rites Held Sunday Emma Elizabeth LaCaze, 93, of Winnfield, died at 8:45 p.m. Friday, February 2, 1967, in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness. She was a native of Red River Parish. Funeral services were held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev. E. D. Dearmon officiating. Burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery. Survivors are three sons, Jessie LaCaze of Winnfield, Eugene LaCaze of Monroe, and Robert LaCaze of Angleton, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Mae Getty of Sweeny, Texas, Mrs. Eunice Hammond of Georgetown, Mrs. Hattie Nugent of Bastrop, and Mrs. Gladys Mays of Pineville; a half-brother, John Cormone of Montgomery; and 35 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lawrence Nugent, Bobby Nugent, Colvin Nugent, Robert LaCaze, James LaCaze, William Getty.
