E. LaCroix Oliver Drew LaCroix, 45, brother of W. E. LaCroix of Winnfield, passed away at his home in Pineville Friday at 9:55 a.m. Funeral services were held Saturday at 4 p.m. in Hixson's Chapel in Alexandria, with Rev. Jolly Harper and Dameron, Methodist ministers, officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood Memorial Park. The deceased had been ill for about seven months. He had been a registered pharmacist for twenty-five years, and was the owner of the Owl Drug Store in Pineville. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Solomon Lodge No. 211, F. & A. M. He was a former resident of Winnfield. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ferol Schaedel LaCroix; two brothers, W. E. LaCroix of Winnfield and I. B. LaCroix, Jr., of Pineville; one niece, Helen Lynn LaCroix of Winnfield; one nephew, Fred Tannehill of Pineville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. B. LaCroix, Sr., of Pineville.
