Sister of Winnfield People Dies at Bunkie

Mrs. Robert C. Laird, age 62 years, mother of Mrs. L. P. Garcia, wife of the
mayor of Bunkie, died at the residence of her son in law and daughter, Mary or
and Mrs. L. P. Garcia, at 10:20 p.m., Monday, December 9, 1935.  She had been
residing in Bunkie for the past 26 years.

Funeral services were held with requiem high mass at St. Anthony Catholic
Church, Bunkie, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 11.

Among the surviving relatives are a brother, Napoleon Belgard, and a sister,
Mrs. Annie Belgard, of Winnfield.
