Dan T. Land Dies; Rites Held May 5

Dan T. Land, 85, died at his home on Rt. 3, Natchitoches on May 3 and final
rites were held May 5 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home chapel with Rev.
Willie Russell officiating.  Burial was in Saline Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mamie Frantom Land; one step son, Aubrey L.
Simpson, Jr., of Clute, Texas; one step daughter, Mrs. Jack Parnell of
Natchitoches; one brother, Lee E. Land of Coronado, Calif.; and four step
grandchildren.
