Mrs. Minnie V. Lane

Services for Mrs. Minnie V. Lane, 90, of Winnfield, were held at 10 a.m.
Monday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norris Curry officiating.

Burial was in Old Union Cemetery near Joyce.

Mrs. Lane died Saturday, November 15, 1980 in the local hospital after a long
illness.

Survivors include three sons, Lewis Lane, Finious Lane, and Boyd Lane, all of
Winnfield; four daughters, Mrs. Vernile L. Pittman of Shreveport, Mrs. Enloe
L. Kingrey of Lake Charles, Mrs. Hazeldine L. Madenwald of Beaumont, Texas,
and Mrs. Edria L. Bolton of Winnfield; two brothers, Silas Varnell and Dallas
Varnell, both of Winnfield; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
