Mrs. J. M. Lang of Verda Succumbs To Months' Illness

Mrs. James Monroe Lang, 60 years old died at her home in Verda Tuesday morning
following an illness of several months and funeral services were held at Mars
Hill cemetery Wednesday afternoon attended by a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lang before her marriage made her home with Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Mixon near
Atlanta and is well known and beloved in her community.  She was a member of
the Baptist church, having joined that church many years ago.

She is survived by her husband, J. M. Lang, and two sons, Loyd Lang of
Winnsboro and Leon Lang of Baton Rouge.
