Funeral Services For R. M. Lang at Mars Hill Sunday


R. M. Lang, age 71, died at the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. D. D. Lang,
last Saturday afternoon.  Funeral services were held the following Sunday at
the Mars Hill Church at four o'clock in the afternoon conducted by the Rev.
Moses Mercer, Rev. H. Scott, and Rev. G. O. Fogleman.

He was a member and deacon of the Mars Hill Baptist Church and was active in
all religious and civic affairs of this community until his health failed
several years ago.

Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. J. N. Fletcher, Colfax, and Mrs. Aston
Fletcher, New Verda, and four sons, Percy Lang, R. B. Lang, and Ross Lang of
Montgomery, and Otho Lang of Shreveport.
