Mrs. Lang, 71, Montgomery Merchant, Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma E. Lang, 71, of Montgomery, were held at 2
p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Montgomery, with Rev. S. J. Sylvest
and Rev. Wayne Durham officiating.

Burial was at the Mars Hill Cemetery near Atlanta under the direction of
Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Lang died Wednesday, June 1, 1977 at an Alexandria hospital after a
lengthy illness.

She was merchant of a hardware and furniture store in Montgomery, a member of
the First Baptist Church where she served as church clerk for 25 years.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
