A. Lasyone Rites Held At Iatt Church

Funeral services for Alfred L. Lasyone, 79, of Montgomery, were held at
2 p.m. Wednesday at Iatt Baptist Church near Verda with the Rev. Jerald
Paige officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lasyone died Tuesday, October 26, 1976 at the Veterans Administration
Hospital in Alexandria after a lengthy illness.  He was a veteran of World War
I, and a retired farmer.

Survivors include three sons, Joe Lasyone of Jena, David Lasyone of
Montgomery, and Herman Lasyone of Lake Charles; one sister, Mrs. Georgianne
Corbett of Verda; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
