Last Rites Held For Mrs. Guis Lashley Of Verda


Mrs. Guis Lashley, nee Lasyone, age 86, died Tuesday, September 14, at the
home of her son, Marshal Lashley, of Verda.  

Burial was made at Liberty Chapel near Williana Sept. 15, with the Rev.
Childers in charge of funeral services.

Mrs. Lashley's husband preceded her in death 47 years ago.

Surviving are four sons, Tommie, Sug, Homer, and Marshall Lashley, and
one daughter, Mrs. Bell Keith.  She also leaves 13 grandchildren and 18
great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Iatt Baptist Church.
