Lashley, 75, Succumbs; Burial At Sardis Mrs. Lola Bazar Lashley, of New Verda died Thursday, November 30, 1972 in a Winnfield hospital following a long illness. She was 75 years old, a native of Sardis Community, in Winn Parish, and a retired seamstress. She was the widow of the late Oscar M. "Sug" Lashley who preceded her in death one year, three months and 20 days. The survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Laura Lashley of Winnfield and Mrs. Belle King of Ruston; and a large number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Willis Broadway officiating. Burial was in the Sardis Cemetery.
