Mrs. S. Lashley, 95, Dies At Her Mars Hill Home

"Aunt" Sirena Lashley, age 95, of Mars Hill, wife of Monroe Lashley, succumbed
Tuesday, September 26, 1939, after a long illness.

Interment was held in the Mars Hill Cemetery Tuesday afternoon with Edmonds
Funeral Home in charge.

Surviving are her husband, and the following sons and daughters, Houston and
Beauford Lashley, Mrs. Ella Guilliams, Mrs. Laura Corbitt, Mrs. Anne Deen, and
Mrs. Lillie Garrett.

The deceased was also a half-sister of Mr. R. J. Lasyone of Winnfield.

Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mr. R. J. Lasyone, Mr. and Mrs.
Willie Lasyone, and Misses Irene and Lucille Lasyone.
