Jesse Lasyone Dies At Home Near Colfax

Jesse W. Lasyone, 88, died early Wednesday morning at his home on Route 3,
Colfax.  Mr. Lasyone was a native of Grant Parish and formerly operated a
grocery store.

At press time, funeral arrangements were pending at Southern Funeral Home. 
Services will be held at Summerfield Baptist Church with interment at
Summerfield Cemetery.  The body of Mr. Lasyone will lie in state at the family
home in Colfax.

Mr. Lasyone is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Lasyone of Colfax; one son,
Mr. John A. Lasyone of Colfax; one daughter, Mrs. John L. Traylor, Georgetown;
six grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Mr. Jeff Lasyone
of Montgomery; and three sisters, Mrs. Asa Gibson, Winnfield, Mrs. Joe
Stanfill, Colfax, and Mrs. Mae Lasyone, Montgomery.
