All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: March 18, 1937 Adolph Lasyone Dies At His Home Near Verda Tuesday Mr. Adolph Lasyone, 83 years, 7 months, and 1 days old, died at his home in Verda, Tuesday night. Mr. Lasyone, brother of R. J. and R. R. Lasyone of Winnfield, was a farmer residing at Iatt Lake the greater part of his life. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Iatt. Funeral services were held at the Iatt Church, Wednesday, with the Rev. Alwin Stokes of Winnfield officiating. A host of relatives and friends attended the last rites. The survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Amelia Sharbano of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. C. H. James of Verda, and Mrs. Bob Corbett of Verda; four sons, J. W., Lee, and E. H. Lasyone of Verda; three sisters, Mrs. J. M. Lashley and Mrs. Mrs. Guestene Lashley of Verda, and Mrs. Mary Keith of Williana; three brothers, R. J. Lasyone and R. R. Lasyone of Winnfield and R. A. Lasyone of Verda. Edmonds Funeral Home was in charge of the burial.
